Wow, has it been a long time since I have been on here. Yet again, i have the excuse of the great and powerful Facebook. Totally addicting..Maybe someone should start a support group for addicts to Facebook. I think most of us all would be there. LOL!!!

Well Ely is almost done with school. He isnt the happiest about that idea. "Mom, what am I going to do when school is done?" Ely, Ely, Ely...what a goofy boy. He just loves it and he has learned so much. He can count to 20 already which is alot for me...He knows some of his ABC'S but not a whole lot. The teacher told me that was ok because he will be in it again next year. She said that no other kids in his class knows as much as he does which made me feel great. I am so pround of him and he is growing up so fast.

Cooper, well there is a whole other book there. He has been keeping daddy on his toes alright. Now that I am working in the evenings Kyle has been having to get the boys from the babysitters, feed them, bathe them and get them in bed. That is quite the site to see i'm sure. The way it sounds is that Cooper likes to push daddies buttons. He has been just great for me because he knows he can't get away with the same stuff..HEHEHE!!! I have the power i guess.. Well Cooper did flood the bathroom when I was watching him..I am sooo glad he did it with me and not daddy. I think daddy would have ran away..LOL, nah Cooper just would have had a spanking coming...

Kyle is doing great. He had a CDL class that he had to take before he can drive semi. Which he is going to do because he keeps losing his hearing working in the loud factories. Trucks are much quieter now days. He went in on Friday to take the 3 tests and passed 2 out of 3. He missed the one test by 1 question. So on Tuesday he is going back to retake that one test. After that its the drving test which will be a breeze for him. He is going to go to work after that and make much more money and be much happier.

I am doing wonderful also. I do still work in Redfield at the state hospital and loving it. I have been working alot and putting in some much needed overtime. It has been very stressfull keeping up with all the house work and laundry but I manage to get it all done. I am not sure how yet but i guess its very possible..Hahaha. Well hope you all are doing well. I love you all lots.

My oh my, It has been awhile since i have been on here. I will have to thank you Barb for getting me addicted to Facebook. I love it. It something else I can keep in touch with my family with other than the phones. I know i need to get on here more but its hard to remember everything that i have going on. Well there everybody. No i have not fallen off the face of the earth just very busy. Now that i have started my new job i dont have a lot of time for much of anything. Today and tomarrow are my days off this week. Next week it is Thursday and Friday. So far my job has been going great. I love it. It is kind of a dangerous job but for the most part its a lot of fun.

Kyle had to get glasses and he looks great. I cant seem to get a picture of him in them but sooner or later i will. LOL!!! He is so happy he finally listened to me and got his eyes checked. He has no more headaches and the best part is, is that he can see..YAY! He looks great.

Ely is still doing great in school. He has conferences tomarrow night so hopefully we will get good results back from that. He seems to be doing ok. I know he loves it and he still loves riding the bus. He isnt to fond of getting up early though which hey if you think about it nor do i or did i ever. So other than that hes doing great. Getting big and very busy. Its hard to keep up.

Cooper on the other hand is busy busy busy. I have a very hard time keeping up with that boy. He is going to give me a run for my money. I thought Ely was the busy one but oh no Cooper is just arnry and doesnt listen. Very stubborn. He takes after his daddy. LOL!! Cooper isnt adjusting to me working so much very well. He has been so naughty for Kyle. I think or should i say I hope that will change. His routine is so messed up now. Kyle is trying to get one for him but just not working very well. Other than that not much else going on. Love you all.

well things are goin very good now that we are in our new house. LOVE IT!!! It is sooo good to have our own space again and to have our own furniture and our personal belongings again. The boys are loving it to. They have all their toys and their own play room. They seem to be pretty happy. At first they had a hard adjustment because we were not around grandma and grandpa all the time anymore. They have adjusted pretty well.

Well my new job is over in Redfield and the South Dakota Developmental Center also known as the mental hospital. It is going very well over there. I am sure that you all are thinking...hmm i bet amanda will fit in just great over there...hahaha im not nuts....all the time lol. I think it will work out great for my family and I. All the state benifits and great pay. I will love it I hope.

The boys are getting sooo big. Ely is loving school still and cooper is just grwoing like a weed. He is talking better since i have been working with him along with everybody else. Things are looking up for a change. YAY!!! Miss you all lots.

Today is Moving Day

Well the day has finally come. We are moving into our new house. Very excited. I am just so happy to finally have my own space again. it will be kind of weird at first I think since we have had the company of the inlaws since October but it will be all good. You guys all will have to come visit sometime and see the new crib. YAY! We got the dressers moved this morning so everything is there now. All we have to do is finish decorating the boys bedroom and the playroom. All the other rooms are all decorated and ready to relax in. It turned out sooo very nice. Hope to see you all very soon.

A fun day in Aberdeen

Tomarrow i am going to go to Aberdeen with my mommy in law and granny in law. Grandma has a doctors appointment to check her heart and make sure its ticking good. Hopefully everything is going good for her. Well after that appointment we are heading to my favorite store. WALMART!!! We are going to get groceries before we move in. It will be a pretty good day. I am going to get my dog a new collar. He is getting way to fat. I am going to get him a new doggy bowl to because the one he has he just doesnt seem to like. It was only like 2 dollars. Its not the thick plastic ones that he uses at grandmas house. So we will see how tomarrow goes. Love you all.

The time has come

THE TIME HAS COME WHERE WE GET TO MOVE INTO OUR HOUSE!!! This saturday we are finally moving to our house. It will be so nice, yet scary. I am so used to having someone helping me with everything along with the kids and now it will be all Kyle and I again. I am worried about the finances since I am not working but things will work out for the better. I hope!

Well it all started last week when Ely wasnt acting right. He started coughing then it went into his chest so i took him to the doctor and they figured out that he had/has broncitis. Which he gets at least twice a year. They put him on a nebulizer and Azithromiacin which seemed to help. He will have the cough for awhile yet but no longer contagious. Well starting Friday Cooper started coughing and i thought oh he wont get it since he is on Amoxicillian. He had sinus infection so thats why he was on that medication. I now know that he can get sick while on an anitbiotic. He now has broncitis which is to bad. His temp is running around 102 and we are trying to keep it down. I will take him in tomarrow and let you all know whats going on with him.

Well i hope that everyone has had a great and loving Valentines day. Mine was pretty boring. Kyle, Cody and Larry all went fishing for the day since they never get to have a guys day because we are all never together. So it was just us girls today and my two boys. Which was okay. We went out to eat today so that was fun. Have out little girl talk and such. Just hoping everyone had a happy day.

Well not a whole heck of a lot going on here. The weather has been pretty fair for us so it has been pretty easy getting my house finished. we have been able to get a lot of decorating done which means we are getting soo close to moving in. Kyle went to Madison last weekend to get his boat so now we have everything here. YAY!

Kyle isnt feeling to well today. He woke up just feeling exhausted so he slept an extra two hours. When he got up he started gagging then...yup you guessed it he threw up. EEEWWWW!! Ely i think is getting or has broncitis. He has a nasty cough but nothing in his chest. It sounds like a seal when he coughs. I dont know if i should take him in or just give him some cough medicine. I am just not sure. He usually get broncitis at least 2 times a year. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Sorry I have been neglecting my blog lately. I have been pretty addicted to facebook now. I love it. I am still able to keep in touch with my friends that way by talking to them with chat or just a measily ol email. lOve you all.

A very saddend day

Well as you all know we had to go to Aberdeen yesterday for an appointment for Kyle to get a new hearing aide. That all went well. Now we have up to sixty days to wait before we can get a new one. It has to go through the whole process. After we were done there we went and got my hair cut again so that it was fixed the correct way. Now it is. We had to go a little bit shorter but hey it will grow back. We went to Walmart and ended up having to get the tire fixed on my Jeep. That took them 2 hours to do so we had to wait around for like ever. In the meantime kyle got a text from a very close friend of and she told us that one of Kyle's close classmates had passed away last night of a heart attack. He was 27 years old. He has had heart problems since the day he was born. The doctors didnt think he would live past 3 or 4 years old. They sure proved him wrong. I am not sure what his heart condition was but i do know he was never able to lift more thatn 25 lbs. So pleas keep your thoughts and prayers with Kyle. He is taking this pretty hard. Another appointment in Aberdeen

Well today we have to go to Aberdeen to see another audiologist. This one is a little bit differnt. This place also does financing for hearing aides. Kyle is about due for another one because his isnt starting to not work right. They only last about 4-5 years anyways and it has been almost 6 years. So today at 2:30 we will be with these people and hopefully they will give us the ok to go ahead and order a new one. That is how he got the one he has now is thru these people. They will also help you get a business started if you want to go that route to. (Which we do) So either way this is a very good place to go. You have to qualify for all this stuff so that is why we are going now instead of later. I am not working yet so income wise we should be fine. Wish us luck. We need it. Hearing aides run about 6000 bucks and we do not have that kind of money. Hopefully we will be ok.

Update on Cooper

Well we took Cooper to the audiologist yesterday and all they could really tell us is that his hearing is perfect. He did have soem fluid behind his ears but must have gone away. The right ear was still a little red but healing nicely. They told us if he has one more ear infection we are probably going to have to do tubes. Ely has had two sets so i am not to worried about it. Whatever I can do to make it better for him is what we will do.

Now onto Kyle, his hearing aide is starting to go bad on him. (NOT GOOD) He depends on that thing to help him hear. so we remembered that when he got that one he got help on the financing part of it. So we called his audiologist and they gave us the number to where we went before for the financing. He has an appointment at 2:00 on Monday in Huron. We should qualify for it with me not working right now and we have 2 kids instead of none. So there is a update on our lives.

Bad news for cooper

Well here it goes...About a month ago we have been noticing that Cooper has been talking so much louder than he normally does. I just figured oh its just him being a little boy and playing and such. He hasnt had any temps or anything so i didn't worry about it. Well today i finally brought him to the doctor to have his ears checked. He did end up having an ear infection. He had ear infections in both ears back in December. Now its only his left ear. They saw some fluid behind his ears so they want to get that checked out a little deeper. So tomarrow at 2:00pm I have to have him in Aberdeen for an Audiology appointment to check deeper into his ears and to have his hearing tested. They are talking about maybe putting in tubes which wouldnt be so bad. They always say that if they child has 2 or 3 ear infections within 6 months they would put tubes in. It has only been a little over a month. I do remember back in december when he had the ear infections his temp was very high and we couldnt get it to come down. So needless to say i am worried like a typical mother does. I was veyr impressed with the doctor that we saw today. I normally wouldnt see her but I couldnt get him in to see his regular doctor. Her name is Dr. Sylvia Anderson..(The best doctor i have seen for a long time) I will be changing primary care prviders now. She did a very thourough check on him. Im talking like top to bottom and in between. So when i get back from Aberdeen tomarrow i will give an update. Pray everything goes good.

Life is goood, kind of

Well as you have read on my sisters my mom fell and broke her ankle in three places. They always say, when it rains it pours. I would have to agree with that lately. My grandma is doing pretty good. She is going to be sore for awhile but doing good. Her liver looks good so that means the cancer didnt spread to there. Now we are awaiting the results to see if it got into her lymph nodes. Keep her in your prayers so that it didnt spread and everything will be good.

Sorry i havent been on here much, my loving sister got me addicted to facebook. She told me to get on there and of course i listened. I went and checked it out and then i made a profile and added pictures then before you know it i was having freinds find me and me finding my cousins and other friends and BAM! now i am stuck to it. Thanks Barb. Thats ok. I love it.

Things are going pretty good here. I have been having a little heart troubles which is weird because it only acted up when i was pregnent. Which I am not pregnent. I have a valve on my heart that doesnt close all the way so it pushes more blood thru then what is should at one time. Wheni am pregnant my heart has to work that much harder which makes my blood pressure crazy and my heartrate off the wall. I have been getting dizzy lately and i have been checking my blood pressure at home here and it has been running 130/92. So it is a little high on the bottom end. So i just keep checking it and if it gets bad enough i will have to go in and get it checked out again. So i am hoping it gets better soon. Take care you all.

well today was such a goregoeus day. To bad it has to start getting cold again. We have gotten rid of a ton of snow. YAY! It is to bad that spring is so far away yet. I just happend to be be taking pictures of the boys after I got them ready to go play outside. It was such a nice day i could not have them all couped up in the house. So they ran around outside for a good four hours. Well every once and awhile Ely would have to come in and go " mom, mom i have to pee!" which of course he has to come in when it is almost to late. We have to get his coat off and snowpants down along with gloves before he can even attempt to pee. LOL! We did this i think around 5 times within those 4 hours. I was exhausted just having to dress him and undress him ever half hour. LOL. I just love this pic. It is just to cute not to share.

History was made

Today history was made. Our first black president was sworn into office at just after 11:00am this morning. It was a very special day for the United States of America. Just think 47 years ago blacks had it pretty tough. Slavery was still going on and now look. We have an African American running our country. How great is that to see how this country has changed so much. Lets all hope that he pulls thru and brings this country back and fixes the economy and helps out the schools along with helping out the people that have lost their homes. Jobs will hopefully be brought back so people will have income to help the economy along with saving their homes and everything else that we the people have all worked so hard for. Keep him and his family in your prayers so that Barack will do his best to help our free country.

There you have it. Kyle turned the big 25 today. He is going to spend his special day ice fishing i guess. It is so windy out there today that i think i am just going to go over to our house and shampoo the carpets one more time before we move. I think the plan is to go get all of our stuff on the 31st. I am feeling a little better today after our terrible news about my grandma but all we can do is pray and hope that things get better.

Well here is yet another tough road for my family. I just found out this morning that my grandmother has been diagnosed with colon cancer. We were all in very much shock. People always say that the Lord never gives you more than you can handle. Well to me it seems that he has. It just seems that things keep on piling up on my back and I am ready to just tip over. Money is always a factor, then my car accident, then i get my hours cut from work and now my grandma has cancer. I try my best everyday to keep everybody in good spirits and that everybody stays safe. So Please keep my grandma and my family in your prays that everything works out. They dont know if it has spread or not. She goes in for surgery on Thursday for a colon recestion so hopefully it hasnt spread to his liver. Thank you all so much for being there for me whenever I have been down in the dumps and upset. I love you all very much.

Yes i am very proud of my new house. We havent got to move in yet as you can tell but it sure does look nice. I thank my in-laws so much for getting this house so we can raise our boys in it. It is a very nice and and it a very pleasant town.

Job hunting

well i will be out again looking for jobs. I still have my job with Common Sense Mfg. but they are so slow right now that i am not getting enough hours to make ends meet so i am going to go out and look for something else along with sticking with Common Sense. I am going to apply wherever i can i guess just as long as we can make ends meet yet a little more. We have not moved into our house yet we keep finding things that we want to do to it which isnt so bad right now since this is happening to us with my hours getting cut. Crappy deal huh. Ya its good to be home with my boys but now days you just cant make it on one income. It is also very good for me to get away from them to give me a break and it relieves stress to. All you mom's know what i mean don't ya? LOL! It will all work out. "I hope!" Take care ya'll.

Our Second Christmas

Well it has been a pretty good week so far. The boys are still being boys. Ely has been pretty naughty which is normally not typical for him. Copper is yes, still being Cooper. Arnry as ever and busy busy busy. It was a fairly nice week considering we still have snow so we will take what we can get. We had our second Christmas over New Years with the in-laws this so that was fun. More presents YAY! I got new bed sheets which are soooooo soft. I got this awesome oil candle wich is made out of wax with a plastic center for the oil. Totally awesome. The boys got more toys which is totally not cool. They have so many as it is. Ely and Cooper both got sleeping bags which they love. Ely got a camoflauge one and Cooper got a spongebob one. They got to sleep in them last night and Cooper thought that was just the coolest thing ever. Ely called it his own little sleepover but with my brother mommy. LOL! Funny little boy. Ely starts school again on Tuesday. He has been home long enough for Christmas break. Actually mommy is getting exhausted. I have been doing pretty good pain wise lately with my shoulder but there is good days and bad days. It will get better in time. I am pretty much done seeing the doctor now i have to go back one last time on the 29th of January just so that he can see if it is healing correctly. Which it is lol. I just need to build up my strength in it. Well better end it on that note. I keep you all in my prayers and love you all.

Well Cooper is going to be fine. The doctor told me that all he has is Thrush and will recover fairly quickly. They gave him an antibiotic called Nystaysis that he has to gargle in his mouth then swallow for 8-10 days. YUCK!!!!! He said that is caused by the antibiotic he had taken a little over a week ago. So he will start getting better soon enough.

My doctors appointment went very good today. I am allowed to go back to normal work duty except for lifting heavy steel. I can go back to welding. AWESOME!!!!!!! Doc wants me to go back and see him January 29th just to see how its going. I need to keep up with my exercing otherwise it wont get very strong. I can move it and all but it is still fairly weak. It will all get better.

Well here it goes again... another round of sick kids. YAY! Well Sunday morning Cooper woke up and didnt quite look like himself. Later on that day he started not acting like himself. He was quiet which never happens and he was running around and being mean to Ely. Which NEVER EVER happens. He fell asleep then when he woke up he was just burning up. So for the next 24 hours we were trying to keep his temp down by alternating Tylonal and Motrin. I could never get the temp below 101. Which isnt to terribly bad for a child so i'm told. He has this wearid stuff going onwith his tounge. It is pain free from what i have noticed so i am going to have that checked out along with him being sick to. We have an appointment today at 3:30 with Dr. Quinn. I have my appointment with my doctor at 3:00 for my shoulder. Hopefully it will be the last one. I guess we will have to wait and see. I will update everyone when it get back from the docs today. Love you all.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope everyone had/has a safe and merryful Christmas. My family spent Christmas Eve with my dad for supper and then to my mom's for the rest of the evening. We opened gifts and it was much appreciated for everything we got. I was just really glad to be able to come spend this special time with my family and celebrate the birht of our Jesus Christ.

Christmas day we didnt do much I guess. We had everybody come over to my mom's house and we had a good dinner then we all just sat around and hung out and caught up on everybody. It was so good to see my little nephew Rowdy. (Which is Stephanie and Cody's son). It has been since he was newborn since we have seen him. His will be 6 months on the 3rd of January. Getting big Rowdy rowdster. LOL! Our little nickname for him. So overall it was a pretty good holiday. Love everyone very much.

Our new House...and Ely

Well we have been working on our new house and I am getting soooo excited to get moved in. We have the kitchen painted which turned out very very nice. It is a light yellow with the nice brown cubords. It doesnt sound very nice but it is. The only reason we chose a light yellow is because I always decorate my kitchens in apple stuff. So the red and the light yellow will look so good together. We are doing the living room and dining room a type of dark green and we are going to sponge over it with a lighter brown I think. I am not sure if it is a tan or what. I havent gotten to see it yet. We are going to change the play room because Larry (my father in law) forgot we didnt plan on painting it and he went ahead and spackled it so we ended up having to tear the wall paper off the north wall and we are now going to paint it. Not sure what color yet. Thats ok that it didnt get to stay that way. Either way i am very thankful that we have a house now because of my in-laws.

Well I think we all can relate to what I am about to write you all. Remember in that moving "A Christmas story" when that little boy is dared to stick his tounge to that flag pole in the middle of winter? We I know every kid does it and finally one of my boys did. Ely was looking out the and he saw some fresh snow on the railing outside on the steps and before you knew it Ely was screaming bloody murder. Kyle went to go get some warm water to release his tounge but by the time he even got to the water faucet Ely had ripped his tounge off by himself. Needless to say Ely has a pretty bad sore on the tip of his tounge. It bled for ever. Poor little guy. He is doing much better he is eating now and drinking so we are on an uphill slide. YAY!

Now to my little man we call Mr. Trouble. He is into everything. I can't hardly turn my back on him a split second before he gets into something he shouldnt. Well I took a few minutes to go to the bathroom and came out and he was sitting on the floor with a light purple mouth. I Found him in front of the fridge with an empy and realized he drank the rest of my Children's Ibeuprofin bottle was empty. He drank about half maybe a little less than half the bottle. Oh My Gosh!!! I freaked out. I called my mom then I called the hospital then my mother in law. She came home and told me to calm down and call the poison control (which I have never had to do before) and they told me that he was going to be ok and that it wouldnt hurt him other than a small tummy ache. Now if it was Tylonal then I would have really had to worry. So luckily everything everything was okay with both the kids.

Later last night i ended up getting a severe headache. Me thinking it was a migrane it was only a really really bad headache. My mother in law said it was a stress headache. My eyes were sensitive to light but not sounds. I just put a cool washcloth over my eyes and went to bed with the lights off. I dont ever want that again. I could never imagine what all of you others feel like with the major migranes. Sorry bout that ya'll. Well on that note i am going to head out. Later gators.

Oh my goodness, it is FREEEEZZZZZIIIIINNNNNGGGG!!!! Today it was 39 below zero with wind chill. We couldnt get to work until at least 9:00am. NOT COOL. We didnt end up getting to much snow. They say only about 5 inches but the wind was just so terrible that nobody could even do anything. Which is totally bad for the boys. They have that cabin fever where they are stuck inside to long they become very busy and loud. ERRRR!!! They give me a headache but i still love them.

Money has been tight for everybody and it just sint much fun. Christmas is going to be tough this year since i had my car accident it put us behind even more. I will just have to wait and get gifts for everyone when tax time gets here which isnt to far away i guess. I was hoping to get bunk beds for the boys which isnt goint to happen right now either. Well that is just life I guess. I hope everyone is staying warm and safe. Love everybody and you all are in my prayers.

Pretty good. Well today was my first day back to work after my car accident and it went pretty well. I am pretty sore but hey that was to be expected after being home and in a brace with absoultly no movement what so ever for 4 weeks. I am only allowed to do light duty which is still pretty intense for just starting out. LOL! I have been painting these mini bottomless feed bunks and some mini pan bunks that have been made for my boss to take to farm shows. It isnt so bad painting them except when i have to bend over. That puts some pressure on my shoulder that isnt the most comfortable but hey its all good. It felt good to be back to work and out of the house away from my four year old and my two year old.

Oh my word are we getting some snow. This morning i woke up to head to work and it was raining. Yes rain in december. NOT FUN!! Ely dont have school tomarrow due to the weather so we will be home hanging out. Hope all is well.

Well i got the okay from the doctor to head back to work for LIGHT DUTY!! I go back on Monday which is kind of a relief for Kyle and well me to. I am just nervous of hurting so bad. I called the doc for some more pain pills just in case i will need them. I am sure i will for a few days. At least we will have some more income again. It is a good thing we live with my in-laws for right now. It saves us a ton on bills. So it will all work out in the end everything always does. Hope all is well with everyone.

I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. I know I did. I was able to go back to Madtown and see my family. That felt soooooooo good. Everybody looked great and healthy. Well i have some great news. WE FOUND A HOUSE!!!!! Well my in-laws bought another house here in Orient and we are going to rent it from them. It is a three bedroom house witha living room, dining room, huge kitchen, bathroom and basement. It has a small patieo on the back and a single garage. Its pretty nice. We wont be able to get into it until at least after the first of the year. We are cleaning it and going to shampoo the carpets and deffinatly repaint. It has these bright blue walls in the living room and this old wierd looking orange in the dining room and another blue in teh bathroom. Crazy wierd. The awesome one (sarcastically) is the playroom. Its a granny apple green. I mean this is like really green with this really cool (Sarcastically again) wall paper that is striped granny apple green and a yellow green. I mean this is sooooo retro man. It kind of grows on you though. I might keep it because i found these differnt curtains that are home made that has like the three little pigs, big bad wolf, red riding hood, henzel and grettle, and three little bears on them. That will fit real nice in their. When i get pictures i will be sure to put them on here. I like the house.

He is sooo ready for Ice fishing along with getting his toys out and go snowmobiling. Ely wants to make a snowman so if it isnt snowing tomarrow we might do that. And yes i will get pics of that to. Ely had a pretty good birthday. He had two birthdays. One here at home at and one at Grandma Hoeke's. He got new Spider Man shoes that light up which he is so proud of. He got a new outfit from grandma and a new game Hi-Ho Cherry-O and a read along book that you put the cd in the computer and go along with it. He got a bunch of other toys and such to. He turned out pretty good this year. My big 4 year old. He is getting so big so quick.ck.

New hair cut

Well i finally got the nerve to chop my hair off. I chopped off 5 inches so i hope it is worth it. I like it i think. I dont remember ever having this short of hair. Other than the haircut nothing else is really new. My little man turns 4 tomarrow. I will get pictures as soon as I can. It is just so hard to believe he is already four. How scary. Doctors Appointment

Well as always I had my doctors appointment today and it went pretty well. He thinks I am healing up nicely and it is looking pretty good for me NOT having to have surgery, I am so thankful for that knowing I wont have that extra doctor bill on top of all the other ones I am dealing with due to my accident. My rotater cuff may be a little damaged but nothing like what we were worried about. We all thought it could have been torn or something like that. It is sore probably because it has been stuck in one position for three weeks. I am allowed to move it a little. I amupposed to take it out of my brace 3 -4 times a day and do exercises with it. OUCH! It does hurt but that is why I have my pain killers. The stronger I can get my arm the quicker I can get rid of my brace and back to work again. Well on that good note take care everyone.

Well today wasnt the greatest day for me. I fell going up the steps today. Yes I know its hard to fall up the steps but Cooper was under my feet following me and I tripped over him. I have had my pills about every four hours today because it is throbbing so bad today. I just wish it was all healed up. Well my doctor called me today to let me know about my appointment in Aberdeen with the orthopedic surgeon. That is schedualed for December 9th at 9 am. The reason we are going to Aberdeen to the specialist is because my doctor wants a second opinion on if I need to get a screw put in my shoulder or not. I am hoping not but i guess the doctors know what they are talking about. I am getting pretty bored sitting at home. I am not supposed to vacuum or anything like that but i do. I just cant sit around doing nothing. I have bothboys but still, i can still keep up house work with them. I just do what I can and dont overdue myself. Well thats all for now. well today was a bad day again. Lots of pain. Well my doctors appointment went pretty good today. I am still stck wearing my brace for at least another two weeks sp that we can get my tendons and all that stuff to heal. That bone i was talking about is still not lined up right and the doctor said it will probably never be lined up perfect. That bone is about a 1/4 in below my collar bone. I am going to go meet with an orthopedic surgon for his opinion on it. Doctor John Carr (my doctor) said he is a little concerned about my rotator cuff and if that is tore or not. We will just have to see.

Well today was another good day for me. I think the swelling must be coming out of my shoulder because it doesnt seem to hurt near as bad. I can move it a little bit (eventhough i'm not supposed to) but it seems to be getting better. I was able to do diapers again, vecuum, dust and do laundry all by myself. YAY!!! The only thing I can say is that i mist have the best husband in the entire world. How many of you can say this?...My husband did my hair for me this morning? Honestly, Kyle put my hair in a half ponytail for me since i cant do it myself right now. Soooo happy.

Since i didnt have my camera i used my in-laws for Holloween and here asre the boys. Cooper was a skunk and Ely was an alligator (or in Ely's words A dinasaur.)

The boys pumpkins were a hit. They kept the boys busy for at least an hour. Ely just had to have circle eyes but hey whatever works. I didnt know how to use the flash ont their camera so it is kind of dark. Sorry.

Well today was a really good day for me. I have been feeling pretty good. I was able to vacuum along with doing dishes, (which is extremely hard to do one handed) but i got them done. We have the house to ourselves for the weekend because the in-laws went to Cody's so kyle, the boys, and I have it quiet. The boys are doing great. Did I mention how hard it is to change a diaper one handed? Especially dirty ones. But for all you mom's and daycare people it is possible. Try it sometime...I bet you get to frustrated tnd give up and start using both hands. LOL! Well just thought i weould write a bit. Love you all.

Hey there hows it going for everyone? Good I hope. Just wanted to let you all know that there will be no pins drilled into my shoulder as of right now. The doc said that we are going to take away all mobility from my shoulder until we can get some healing going on. They gave me another brace to wear so that I cant move it at all. The got my brace set up so that my shoulder is perfectly propotioned so that it should heal correctly. I go back to the doctor again next thursday. We will just have to wait and see what happens. WOW! I am very lucky to even be around to type this blog...I was going to work on Monday morning just like any other day and just in a split second things were changing for me. I rolled the Maverick 1 1/2 or 2 times. I am not possitive. I just hit loose gravel and lost control. It was the scariest thing I have ever been thru. It sounded like a freight train the metel and glass shattering was just so loud. It is something that I will never ever forget. I am just glad to still be alive. All that happend to me was that my shoulder (left) was out of place in a way that my doctor has never seen before. The orthopedic doctor said we might end up putting a screw in we arent for sure yet. I am going to see a doctor tomarrow to see what he thinks. W got my shoulder back in place but there is a joint in there that is just kind of floating around soo we will see. They are talkijg that i will be in this sling for at least six weeks. I guess I pulled all om my ligaments to far. So we will just see what the doctor says tomarrow. Keep me in your prayers.

Another uphill battle

Well we have faces another problem in life. Kyle has been injured. It started about 4 weeks ago when he was working at Gehl. He hurt his back there just figuring it was a sprain. Well the past week it has been getting worse and worse. He woke up this morning and couldnt hardly walk. We went to work just like every other day and by 10:00am he wasnt moving. We got him into the chiropractor and after he was done we got bad news. His back is out of place (which they put back in) his back was locked up (which they unlocked) and he strained ever possible muscle in his back that could have been strained. So needless to say OUCH!!!! They gave him and back brace and put him on lifting restrictions and bending restrictions. He is still able to work but all he can do is upright welding. They didnt give him any pain medication but he was asked to take ibuprofin and ice it. Ice is supposed to be put on ever hour or so when he can. It will take time for him to get better. He goes back on Thursday for more thearpy. Hopefully it will start getting better now that he is having that electrode thearpy. Other than that nothing much new. Hope all is well with everyone.

Well here we go. Here comes the cold weather. All the rain and wind we have had isnt making it any better. T 8:30 it was already 29 degrees outside. Like i said, BRRRR!!! Other than the weather we have been having the boys are doing well. Kyle and I are doing pretty good to. Getting exausted with with the boys. Cooper is still very busy. He is starting to talk a bit more which is good. Ely is still loving school. He is still not liking the fact of him having to get up in the mornings at 7:00 am but he will eventually adjust to it. He is getting better but still not a morning person. Other than that nothing much new. Work is going ok for us also. I hope everyone is staying warm and keeping safe. Not a single day goes by that i dont think of everyone. Love you all very much.

Well another day in paradise at work. The day started off really well other than I smashed my finger under some steel. After dinner i was welding away and started to notice that my face was feeling hot. I burned my face. Its like sunburn but not quite. Just dont get the tan. The reflection from the rays was coming up under my helmet and it also burned my eyes. They feel ok right now they are starting to feel dry and sandy which isnt a good thing. I am sure by morning it will be hard to open my eyes. They will be very sensitive to light. Oh well i guess. That is just part of my job.

The boys are doing really good. I am finding out that Cooper is going thru a growth spurt. He is getting way to tall for all of his jean. I am going to have to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe for him. Also another good thing about Cooper is that he is wanting to use the potty. He has been going pee and poop in the toilet for me and great grandma. YAY! NO MORE DIAPERS!!!!! IT is also kind of sad because my little baby is growing up wayt to fast. It will sure save me money though because i wont have diapers to buy anymore. When it comes time i will have him in pull-ups all the time and Ely in pull-ups just at night. Which is still lots cheaper. Well nothing else new today. Hope all is well with everyone. You are all in my thoughts.

Well here we go again, more rain. I am getting so tired of rain because the boys are stuck in the house. It wouldnt be so bad if it was just cold but the rain makes it really hard to do anything. At least if it was just cold we could bundle the boys up then they could play outside for a bit. The boys are getting bored being inside. I am running out of ideas to do with them. Coloring gets boring for them, puzzles, books you name it. So if anybody has any and i mean any ideas on how to keep the boys occupies would be great. Right now i will try anything.

Hunting pheasants is going well so far. Kyle has gotten at least 2 birds a day. He has been getting them on his way home from work. Which is good. Money is short so anyway to save money on food is well worth it. Im not a huge fan of pheasant but its not to bad. The boys seem to like it though. It is very good for you just not to fond of the taste. It almost taste like dried steak but not to dry. Its not like liver at all. I guess if you havent had it you wouldnt quite understand. Well there is an update. Hope all is going well with everyone.

Well an update on how pheasant hunting went today. Carmen got quite a few birds up but daddy didnt get them shot fast enough. Kyle and Cody only got 3 birds today but hey its hard to get them when you cant ground pound them. They will go back out tomarrow and hopefully get their limit. The maximum you can get a day is 3 per person. Ranger is to lazy to get any birds. He just looks out like "that dumb dog whats he doing?" LOL! Well later gators.

Well now we know its almost winter time. Tomarrow is the start of pheasant season and my oh my is Kyle excited. I am not sure if he is as excited as Carmen is but hey it is a fun time for the whole family. Heck i think i am even going to get a license this year so that i can get my limit or two this year. The good thing is, is that i get to babysit this weekend for Lilly Mae. YAY! She is getting so big. She has her six weeks shots yesterday and she is already just about 13 pounds. WOW!! I cant believe how fast they grow.

Well i finally made time to make the boys their first dentist appointments. They are set for Wednesday October 22nd. Cooper's is at 3:00 and Ely's is at 3:330. Grandma is going to take them because i have to work and i dont dare try to take time off beings i just started my job. It will be fine. They are pretty good boys when they go to the doctors.

Ely is doing very well is school and he is learning his alphabet and learning how to count. He can now count pretty well but he is still stuggling with his alphabet. He will get it. It all comes with time. Well that was a quick update other than that all is well and things are going pretty smooth.

Well today i started my new job. It went pretty good. Long day and very sore feet. I am going to have to get used to my wearing my steel toed boots agian. OUCH! I got to weld all day today YAY! I was pretty excited about that. I got a little burned on my face but not to bad. I am working for a place called Common Sense Manufacturing. We build bale feeders, feed bunks, wire winders, bottomless feedbunks and other stuff like that. Typical farm equipment needed for cattle and stuff like that. At least there is always something to to everyday. I am always busy is what i am trying to say. Well just thought i would update and tell everybody that my day went pretty well. I am going to go soak in a nice hot bath. (not that you all care) LOL! Have a good night ya'll.

OMG! i am so tired of rain. It has been raining constantly for the past 4 days now. My poor kids have been couped up in the house and they are really driving me CRAZY!!!! They just want to run and be kids but since it has been soooo cold out and rainy they havent been able to do any of that. They are handling it pretty well. Better than i figured they would be doing. Rangser is getting very big also. Once i get a recent picture of him i will post it. Oh ya did i tell you that last Friday i got to babysit fofor the newest addition to the family. Yes miss Lilly Mae. Cody and Katie both had to work Saturday morning and of course daycare normally isnt open. so oh to bad i got to watch her and my oh my was that fun. The only bad thing is, is that she has her days and nights mixed up so needless to say i was very tired Saturday morning. She slept all day friday was awake Friday night then she was awake all Day Saturday. Get it? Ya it sucks but hey i was in that same boat with Ely when he was a baby. OMG! Ely loves school. This morning he was very exceited about going back to school. When i got him to school right away he started playing and i asking him for a kiss and hug then he said by mom then i left. "whew" what a relief. I thought for sure he would cry and want me to stay beings that it was in the morning. It went great. After school when i picked him up he right off the bat told me how much fun school was. He colored and cut which is what he loves to do. He loves to use scissors and cut out paper. So i just thought i would update everyone and let you all know that he did a very good job. I am so proud of him.

Yes you got it, Ely will be starting school tomarrow and he will be attending Faulkton Preschool. We met his teacher tonight and her name is Miss Bower. She seems nice and Ely seems to like her. He was really shy but there were no other kids there when we met. He will be able to ride the bus to school but i will have to go pick him up when he is done. He will be in the morning group which starts at 8:30am and runs until 11:30am. I will update tomarrow and let you all know how it went. Hope and pray that he enjoys it like he did while he was in Chester. Thanks everybody for your support in everything.

Man i just dont know what else to do. Poor Ely is just having a heck of a time with his allergies. This morning he woke up and his eyes were so dry and itchy and his poor little nose was so stuffed up and he was coughing so terribly bad. I call his doctor and they will send me some more pills for him which is a good things. He needs them!!! He has been in an out of the doctore so many times and all they do is just try differnt medications with him. Does that make me a bad mom or just and over protective mom? Should i just let it take its toll or what? I need help or options. So if anybody knows any ideas please let me know. Other than that nothing new going on. Cooper is still busy and I am doing good. Kyle seems to like his new job and I am just waiting to find out when i get to start. So when i find out more i will let al of you know more to. HA! Hope all is well with everybody.

Today was a pretty good day. The weather wasnt the greatest but it wasnt to bad. The boys got to play outside for a little bit until it started to rain. After the rain had passed the boys took naps then i finished up my laundry. YAY! Gosh i hate laundry. It just seems never ending doesnt it? When you think you get all caught up there is just another pile waiting for you to wash again. ERRR!!
Well we got Cody (my brother in law) all moved into his new house in Miller SD. Its not the biggest house but it will do until they can find a better house to buy so they can settle down where they want to stay.
Ely wasnt feeling the best tonight. His allergies are really starting to get bad. I really hate this time of year when harvest time is here. All the dust in the air and the grain floating around really makes it hard for him to breathe. We just go day to day with his meds to keep him comfortable. I am going to call his doctor on monday and see if he will send me some more samples of the Singular that Ely is on. It seems to be helping tremedously which is great.
They boys are really getting their routines down pact. Ely today said mommy is it time for my nap yet me is getting tired. I looked at the clock and by golly it was like ten minutes until it was his nap time. So i think his body is getting used to the changes. He knew about what time his bath time was and about what time his bed time was. So i think things will start getting better for us. Cooper on the other hand is having a harder time with this whole routine thing. He always fights with me to take his name and to go to bed. He will get it though. It all takes time. We have only been here a week so i think soon things will start kicking in for him. Well that is all i have for today. I will post again tomarrow. Yet another good day

Today and yesterday were pretty good days. Today is still early but hey so far so good. Ely has been doing great other than his stuffy nose and Cooper is still being his typical self. BUSY BUSY BUSY. We have been stuck home all week so that we can get the boys into a routine. I would rather be helping my brother in law move. But hey what ever is best for my boys is best for me. THey have been thru quite a bit in the past two weeks so a good structure and a great routine is what they need and they seem to be adjusting to the change rather well.
Ely told me this morning that he wants to drive a helicopter. I was like "WOW" where did that come from. So i told him maybe someday he will be able to and i will support him in whatever he wants. He has got such an imagination. I love to watch him build with his blocks and the things that he comes up with. Just the other day he said me made a big building where lots of cars are. I said, "Ely, what is that?" he then repied, "Thats where papa Don works" "Oh Prostrollos where they sell cars." Yes mommy i want to go help papa sell cars." LOL i couldnt help but almost cry. I just couldnt believe how smart he is and how much he doesnt forget stuff like that. Kids are just crazy. They say the darndest things. Well that is all i have for now i guess.

Hey everyone, I hope everything is going well for everybody. Ely seems to be feeling much better today. I am just hoping the medications will keep him strong. They must be working so far. He is sitll congested but other than that he is back to his old self. Playing and acting like race cars is what he does best. We always tell him "cadilac buddy" He likes to act like Lighting McQueen instead of being quiet in the house. Oh well boys will be boys i guess. The boys appetite is getting back on track which is good. Just thought i would update since last night everybody was worried about Ely im sure. talk to you all later.

Another Haul

Yes you got it we have moved yet agian. We have found ourselves back in Orient living with my in-laws which is going great so far. We have found some new jobs and hoping that everything will start going uphill for us instead of downhill financially. I think everything will be fine
Ely has been getting sick again off and on due to his severe allergies. Now that harvest time is here that is going to really kick him in the butt. He has so many nasty allergies such as all the grains and dusts along with all the thissles that are out there. So now that the combines are out the allergies are kicking in. We have plenty of medications for him to keep him going and keep him healthy. He is having lots of problems with his nose being stuffy and his eyes are watering... typical allergy things i guess. I am just fortunate that i dont have them but i feel so bad for Ely having to deal with it and i cant do anything about it but try to keep him comfortable.
Cooper is doing good and he is adjusting to the change rather well. He is eating better and sleeping better also. He is still very busy. Well i am going to cut this very short. Lots to do you know. Love everybody very much and hope to keep in touch with everybody also.

We Moved!!

Yeah, yeah, Yeah we are still around just been really busy with a lot of stuff. We did move to a farm just outside of town. Ely has started school in Chester(August 26th) and he just loves it. He always says to me, "Cooper can't go to school with me cuz he not a big boy yet." "He stills wears diapers like a baby so he not going with me." Mommy takes him to school and he gets to ride the school bus home. He loves the bus ride. "I feel special mommy, some kids don't get to ride the bus like me do." He says.

Cooper is still very arnry but he is getting big. He loves his time without big brother around. He is doing very well. He is starting to talk better and still very active. He has been very healthy so far *knock on wood* Ely has had a lot of problems with his alergies this summer and now we have him on some Singular hoping that will help and so far it has been doing good for him. He isn't having many problems yes again *knock on wood*

Kyle started a new job at Gehl and he likes it so far. Lots and lots of welding which is what he loves to do. He gets to be home earlier to which is good. He works really early in the morning though which is taking him a while to get used to but he still enjoys it.

We have a new addition to the Wangsness Family. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law just had their first baby. The first girl of the family to. Her name is Lilly Mae and she is just to cute. She weighed 9 pounds 3 1/2 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long. What a little princess she is.

Life has been pretty crazy lately. Its been such a roller coaster since I have been sick. I have been dealing with this sickness for about 4 months now and now that I can finally get back to work another shot of bad luck hits us. I ended up having to take Cooper into the doctor on June 30th because he was running a temp and it was not going down at all. So when Mitch Poppens saw him he diagnosed him with a handfull of stuff. He has Strep throat, chicken pox, and Emphentygo. They are all very contagious so we have been stuck at home. Now that he has been on the medication for over twenty four hours we are able to finally go hang out with people.

It was to back he couldnt go to Julia's birthday party last night. Daddy stayed home with him so that we wouldnt spread the germs around to everybody else. It is to bad that uncle kyle so be over there either. He was really bummed. He wanted to pick on her like he always does. He is pretty proud of his neice and nephews.

I hope that you all have a very safe 4th of July and becareful. Hope everybody keeps their finders on and dont hurt anybody. We are going to the in-laws for the 4th. It will be fun. We are taking off right when Kyle gets home from work because we are going to shoot off fireworks. They baught like 400 dollars worth of stuff for the boys. Well hello to all who have actually been checking this to see if i have written anything...Well suprise!!!! I am writing again for once. I have a lot to update since i have been on last. Well in the past three months I have been dealing with a lot of female problems. Yes, I am talking about that lovely monthly friend that we all hate. Well I have been having a lot of pain with it and having it abnormal since then. Well I have been going back and forth to the doctor's here in Madison then the doctors sent me to sioux falls to see an OBGYN there and she said we should try the depo Prevera shot to try to regulate me and that didnt work. So then we ended up doing a procedure that is called Endometrio Ablation which means in our words going inside my utuerus and putting some kind of chemical in there and then putting a burst of electricity inside and burning my uturus wall. Yes you all are probably say OUCH! Yes, you are all correct. That did hurt but i have some even better news...that didn't work eiether. I still had the pain, i still had the bleeding and nothing was seeming to work at all. NOT COOL! So i went backto the doctor and and she was confused. She called me her mystery patient. We could not figure out what was wrong with me. Beings this stuff runs in my family she braught up the option of a hysterectomy which neither of us really wanted to do but we had pretty much run out of options. She then decieded that this was the only routhe we had left we to go ahead and do the hysterectomy. I was the first 23 year old that she has ever done one on so i guess i can say i feel special...lol NOT!. I am feelilng much better now going into four weeks after the surgery i am feeling a little better. I am still have a bleeding due to the stiches and the healing process and some cramping. I went to the doctor on the 10th of June and of course she had to poke and prod around on my tummy and inside to make sure everything was healing properly and it looks good but ever since the check up i am bleeding much more and having tons more pain.
Then boys are doing great my youngest cooper just turned two years old on June 10th. WOW! how time flies. I can't believe how old he is and how big he is. Ely is getting really big to he wasnt to start school he always tells me. " Mommy I a big boy now and i want to ride the bus for school." he is such a big boy. It is so hard knowing that he can start school this coming year. WOW! that is all I can say.
We did end up getting another memeber of the family. Our Dog Carmen had a litter of pups and we ended up keeping one. His name is Ranger. (Ely named him) He is a golden lab and is very well minded and is cute as heck. Well there is the update hope you all keep in touch. Thanks for the patients with me.

Yes, i know i havent been on in awhile..It has been pretty busy around here lately..Between the boys and Kyle and I getting sick and everything else that is going on we have been pretty busy. Between the doctors and going back and forth from Sioux Falls for Ely's appointments everything has been ok i guess.. This week Cooper had that Influenza A and Bronchitis and Ely had the start if it. We got it taken care of right away..Now hopefully I won't have to miss anymore work. It is killing our paychecks since we have both been home either sick or with the kids. The boys seem to be getting better as are Kyle and I. We should be ok. Also that we have all lost our overtime that hurts everybody..Not just our family. My boss said that we are heading into our busy season so hopefully it does pick up soon so that i can start bring home more money and put in more hours that Kyle...(LOL he hates that) Oh well i feel that I owe it to him beings that he took care of me when I didn't work when we lived back west... He is such a great guy who loves his family and will do whatever he can for us...Thank you all for your help and support thru all my past.. I love you all very much. Especially you Barb. You have done some wonderful things to. And DAD? Your amazing. The things that us kids have put you thru, WOW! you are a very tough man. I love you with all my heart. Mom, Your great. You have always been there to listen. Thanks a million. Just all of you...thanks for being there for me.

Well yet again we got bad news. Ely had an hearing test at 9:30 and he checkup at 10:00am. His hearing test came back perfect but the check up wasnt the greatest news. They had the results from his allergy test and that was the worst news. Ely has just about every allergy that you can possible think of. Anything from certain grasses, thissles, mold, dust mites, cats to cows milk and wheat. It was heart breaking. So they put him on the nasal spray called Nasonex. He has to has this twice a day for who knows how long. The doctor told me that if we keep up with everything well hopefully all of his allergies should be gone by the time he turns 7. I just feel terrible since I couldnt do anything to really prevent them. I just feel like it is my fault since I couldnt prevent him from getting all of this crap. Well all I know is that we are trying to get him back on track and all healthy again. I am just going to have to keep an eye on him that much more. Thats just what mothers and fathers are for. Thanks for letting me vent on here. It makes me feel better.

Wow! it is a wonderful day today. Another warm day in store. Its about time we are finally getting our warm weather. We had a pretty good day yesterday and it was a late night for us. It is going to be a short post cuz i am about ready for a nap. The boys are both doing good growing like weeds. Cooper on the other hand been being really arnry..Whatever he can get into, He will. Weather its when we are looking or when we arent. He is a sneeky little man. Ely seems to be getting sick again. I think he is getting bronchitis again. I am hopeing not. He goes back to the docotor tomarrow for a post op check up after his surgery 3 weeks ago. He is all better from that thank goodness. His ears seems to be doing much better..He hasnt been complianing of them hurting anyways which is a good thing to. Well I am going to call it a day. Hope you all have a good and warm Sunday.

What a beautiful day out and I cant want to get outside and play with kids in the snow. It is just way to nice to be stuck inside the house today. The whole weekend is supposed to be nice along with next week. I am hoping that spring is only a wink away. I am tired of the this icky cold weather. I think the boys are really getting tired of being couped up in the house also. They both need to be out running around doing what boys do and getting muddy and working in the shop with daddy. One good thing about the weather being nice is that when we are at work we are able to stay warm and sweaty but its not to cold where we can't even put enough clothing on to even stay warm just a bit. So Kyle and I are really looking forward to the warm weather that is on its way. Time has just flew by in the past years. Heck, Ely is already 3 and Cooper is going to be 2 on June 10th. That about makes me cry. They are growing up way to fast for me. It seems like just a week ago I was delivering Ely. I will never forget that first eye to eye contact with him in my arms. The first sign of being a mother was that moment. It made it so real. Now that I have two wonderful boys that I wouldn't trade off for anything my life is complete. Kyle, Ely and Cooper keep me very busy along with work. So not much time to do much besides home and work. I just like to spend time with the kids as much as possible watching them learn and explore the whole world that we know. I just hope that I can do the best job as a mother to get him on the right track in life. Well enough with the sappy stuff so I am going to play V-Smile with the boys. Well its the day before Ely's surgery and yes of course I'M A WRECK!!! All I can think about is them taking him from me once I hit those double doors. I hate the fact that he is going to be in pain when I am not around to take care of him. Yes, I will be around when he is in recovery but still, it is very hard. I am just so worried about him. The only good thing about this is that he will be a whole new child after he recovers. He will feel so much better and hopefully he wont be sick as much anymore with the bronchitis and such. I will call all of you and let you all know how Ely turns out. Just keep him in mind tomarrow morning at 7:00am. We have to have him there by 6:15am so it will be and early bedtime and a long day tomarrow. Just pray that everything will be alright. Talk to you all soon

Yet, another day come and and gone. It is still very cold and its hopefully going to warm up soon. I will find out tomarrow what time we will have to be in Sioux Falls for Ely's surgery on Monday. I know i wrote down tuesday but it was a misunderstanding when i took Ely to the doctor i thought they told me Tuesday but oops! I was wrong. So we will have to be in Sioux Falls and we are going to have to stay there. I am so scared for Ely. I feel so bad for him because he is going to be in a lot of pain. I know it will make him feel sooo much better after he heals up. He will be a whole differnt kid. Even though you can't really tell he has been sick now. He is running around the house like a chicken with its head cut off. Oh well, it it all worth it. Kids are a wonderful thing. I wouldn't change them for anything. Well have a good night ya'll.

Hello everybody I finally got my internet back. I am soooo very happy. Whew, a lot to catch up on. To start off the boys are going ok i guess. Ely has to have surgery on Tuesday Febuary 5th. To start off the reaon why he has to have surgery is because when he got tubes in his ears he was just a little over a year old. Well when they fell out the right one fell out all the way and the left one got stuck so now there is scar tissue built up around the tube which then hooked the tube to his ear wal and he ear drum. OUCH! So now the doctor has to go in there and take that tube out and then she is going to put in new tubes. After that is done Dr. Larsen is going to take out his adnoids and tonsils I think. I know fo sure the adnoids are coming out. Ely is also going to have a small probe put in for 24 hrs. to check and and see he has acid reflux. They are also doing an allergy test on him. I do not remember if they are doing another test or not. I tend to forget when I am under a lot of stress. I was bawling the whole way home after his doctors appointment last Friday. It is very hard for any mother to have to see their child go thru surgery. So Ely will have to stay over night and get the probe taken out the next morning at 11:00 am. I am hoping he eats and keeps fluids down so that we can go home on the 6th.
Cooper is doing ok. He is getting big and still being a pain in my rear end. He tends to like to beat up his big brother Ely a lot but hey thats sibling rivalry. Last Saturday we went and got Cooper's hair cut and he did not like it at all. He screamed and bawled.
Kyle and I are still working at T&R over in Colman and we still like it. I lost my overtime because it got so slow. We will hopfully be able to get out hours back in a month or so. There has been a lot of ups and downs at work but hey, that is any job you go to. Well that is a breif catch up hope to keep in touch with everybody.

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody! We are all still doing good. I am very exhausted from working so much but hey its all worth it. My kids are doing great Ely is getting excited for his birthday tomarrow. ("mommy, I am going to be three!") So at least he knows whats going on. He is going to have a lot of cars stuff by the end of the weekend. I want to get him so Go Diego Go stuff but thats hard to find to. I want to find a Diego movie but not sure if I can find one of those. I am getting hungry for my black olives and my stuffing. That is the only good thing I like about Thanksgiving. Well other than I know Christmas is coming. LOL! So I just hope everybody has a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy all of the calories. Love to everybody.

Yes, I have been gone a really long time. I have been a little short on cash so we do ot have the internet right at the moment so I we are trying to get things back in order again to get it all back. Here is a quick update on everybody. Well Kyle has been very sick with Pnemonia Ely is doing great and getting big and cooper is full of enegy as a typical 1 year old is I am just busy busy busy. I am working so much and trying to keep the house in order. I got my basement all organized because a friend of mine is going to be moving in with her 2 kids so i will have a house full. I will have a 5 month old,a 1 year old and two 3 year olds in my house. Whew! I am not sure how I am going to be able to handle that but everything will work themselves out one way or another. Ely will be turning 3 on November 23rd. (Yes, Barb its your birthday to.) I will never forget that birthday..LOL! Well just thought i would update everybody. See you all later.

Finally, we got a nice day where we can be outside with the boys and Kyle can be in the shop getting the boat engine put back together. While Cooper was sleeping and Ely was helping dad "work" I went to my dad's house to barrow his lawn mower so that I could get out jungle mowed. LOL! I didn't realize it was that tall. So now I am pretty tired. It was a lot of work getting that done. I am stuck home doing laundry and all of the other wife/mother jobs at home. I don't know how a lot of people do it. They kepe the house clean all the time and laundry all caught up and all of that other stuff. It's hard work but I manage. Kyle seems to be feeling much better other than getting extremly bad headaches and when he turns a little to quick he gets dizzy and starts to see double. . He is worried about a brain anurizm because his uncle died from one not to long ago. I told him you would probably know if you had one because a lot more would probably be happening besides the headaches and the dizzyness. What do you all think? Hmm...where do I start? Ely is growning up so much. He is almost 3. WOW! I can't belive how smart he is already and how much he understands and how well he talks. Tonight I had a conversation with Ely. I asked him what he wanted for his birthday in November. Here is the conversation...

Me: What do you want for your birthday in November?

Ely: Cake!!

Me: Yes Ely we will have cake but what do you want for a present? Do you want a new 'Cars' bedset?

Ely: No mom, I already have a cars bedset.

Me: Ok, how about a new cars blanket?

Ely: NO MOM! I have one on my bed see...(he showed me his conforter from his bed) LOL!

Me: I said, no Ely how about a really big fuzzy cars that is as big as your room?
(He smiles big and shook his head.)

Ely: Ok mom, let's make it easy, anything cars I want.

LOL! I thought it was cute. I am so proud of my boys. I am so afraid that I am not teaching my boys enough while I am at home. At least I have it so that Ely will sit down with me to read a book and not me running around like a headless chicken..HE! HE! HE! If anybody has any suggestions for me on how to work the boys to help them with colors and shapes and counting would be great. I know that other 3 year olds can count to 10 and Ely can only pretty much get to like 5 sometimes. So I just thought I would share our little conversation with all of you.

Sorry I have not written for awhile..I have been very busy due to work and the kids and a very sick husband. Well since Wednesday I have put in 30 hours already. Busy busy busy. The kids are keeping me on my toes and whew, my husband, hmm..where should I start. He started getting sick on Thursday and now it is Sunday. I took him in to the Emergency Room to find out that Dr. Poppens thinks he has West Nile. Not Cool It took me a lot of convincing to get him to go it. My mom and stepdad had to talk him into it to. Along with his mom and dad. He is pretty sick. He aches all over, high temp, severe headache constantly. Just a lot of stuff going on. I am glad that I was able to be home with the boys this weekend becasue I was missing them so much with all the work I have been having to do at T & R. It brings in very nice paychecks but it kills the time with the family. After I got off work at 3 :30 on friday the guys wanted to go down to the bar for a drink and I said sure. Well then the owner of T & R showed up and I had a few with him. Then when it was time for me to get heading home I went to go put gas in the pick-up I met up with another friend from T & R and he wanted to go down and have a beer. So needless to say, I did. I had to have Kyle come get me and I was expecting him to be mad at me because I was toast. I had a few to many to drink and on top of that I had beer. I don't like beer. He told me he wasn't mad because I have been busting my butt all week and I deserved a time out for awhile. I was pretty sick when I got in the Jeep. I threw up and all. I never get sick when I drink. I think it is because I was drinking the good ol' Bud Light. It actually tasted pretty darn good. LOL! Better mark that on the calander becasue I will probably never say it again beings I don't drink beer. I like my sweet stuff like Mikes hard Berry. Well I guess better change Cooper's pants. Busy Cold Day

Today was a pretty busy day. I got up this morningand got the boys ready for the day and then all of the work started. I went to my mom's house and got her steam cleaner so that i could clean my carpets. They turned out awesome.. Looks like new now. Yay! After that I had to run a bunch of errends and due laundry and clean house and the list goes on and on.
I keep on adding to my kitchen Did I mentions that my kitchen theme is apples? Well it is and it looks totally awesome. HEHEHE! Well I got a bag of apples from my Grandmother in-law and i dind't know what to do with it until I saw a string of garland at the dollar store. It has face leaves on it so I strung my apples thru it and hung them above the opening between the kitchen and the living room. It looks absoulutely cool. Iam always willing to take anything apples or pigs. My bedroom theme is pigs so I am pretty organized when it comes to themes in my house. LOL! You should come see it Barb. It looks nice.

A day in my new department

Whew! I made it. I was transfered into my new department today and wow that is exhausting. I am now working in Single Faze Pads and I absolutly love it. I FINALLY GET TO USE MY TOOLS AGAIN!! I am not always on a dumb fork lift. I get my exercise back and am always busy which makes the day go by so much faster. Which is a very good thing. The quicker my day goes the quicker I can go get my childeren.
I don't know what you all would think about this idea but I have done some thinking and I miss living back in Orient. I doubt it will ever happen because there is just nothing around there for work. I miss my in-laws a bit and they miss us but beings that we are all getting along so well I want it to stay the same. I miss the small town living and the no worries about cops.
The boys are doing great and seem to be glad to be home from a week off. Barb was very happy to see the boys also. I guess Cooper was very clingy to Barb on Tuesday because she missed her auntie. I am glad to be home from the weekend because now i can get back into routine with myself and the boys. I have to change it a bit beings I got transfered so now I have to get up at 4:30 am instead of 5:30. Oh well just have to go to bed earlier. Well i better get going just thought i would write to say how my day was.

YAY! I fianlly got to see my boys again. Kyle and I left on Friday to head to Orient to pick up the boys. Finally! It was great, when Ely saw me his eyes got huge and he came running to me and said, mommy don't leave me. All I could do was hold on to him and of course hug him and kiss him. So all night friday he was always right there beside me saying mommy don't leave me. He said lets go home mom i miss my bed. So we stayed until Monday then we headed home to get settled back into the house. Well just thought I would let you all know I got my boys back and yes Barb they will be at your house on Tuesday.

*Tear* I miss my boys so much already. My mother in law and father in law cam down on Saturday and stayed the night. That was a pretty good time. We all had fun and mom and I went rummaging and just spent mother and daughter time together. I enjoyed it anyways. Well back to my sad story They left on Sunday afternoon and they took both of my boys for a week. Don't worry we knew about it and we gave them permission..LOL! I didn't realize it would be this hard to come home wo a quiet house. Everybody keeps telling me to go out and have fun. They wish they could get rid of their kids for a week. Well not when my baby Cooper hasn't been away from me for that 2 days at a time. It's tearing me up but I know it will make me a strong person and make me love my boys that much more not that I don't love them now more than life itselft. Well me having myself and my kids on such a good schedual after work yesterday I did my normal drive home and went straight to Barb's house to get my kids from daycare. I walked in the door and Barb gave me the goofiest look I have ever seen. I stopped for a minute, looked around and then replied "Oh ya, my kids ain't here." I am just so used to getting them everyday and like I said before I am never away from them at night and after work. That was the hardest thing realizing that my kids are not around. When I got home I turned the TV on layed down on the couch covered up and bawled. It is just breaking my heart but like I said before. It will make me a stronger mom and it will give Kyle and I alone time to spend together and get to know each other more. We are able to talk about everything without having kids screaming in the background and crying. Which is a good thing yet I miss the cries and the fighting. Kyle and I are going to go get the kids Friday after work and we will come home on Sunday and be back to the normal schedual of getting up getting the kids ready to go to Barb's then go to work come home make supper bathe the kids play with them for an hour or more put them to bed then I shower then I go to bed. Same stuff just differnt days. Well I am sure you all have read enough about how tough my life is right now so I will sign off now and talk to you all later.

ELY IS ALMOTS POTTY TRAINED!!!! We have been working with him for a little over a week now and he is finally going to the restroom by himself. I am so proud of him and I am happy to that I only have to buy diapers for one kid now instead of two. It is going to help my paycheck a lot. Whew! finally we are just about done. Just thought I would write a little update on the littel man.

YAY! I am so glad its Friday yet again I am not. My inlaws are coming tomarrow. That will be a joyful time. They will be leaving on Sunday though its still going to suck because they are taking my boys for a whole week. What will I do. I am not sure if I will be able to handle a whole week. Should I let them be gone for a week or should I make them bring them back say Wednesday? I don't know if i can handle being away from them that long. I am glad its Friday because i dont have to go back to work unitl Monday. YAY! My paycheck isn't going to be good though because i had to take off last Monday so i could get my pick-up back and then Tuesday we had food poisoning from Pizza Hut here in Madison. 7 out of the 9 of us that ate it that night got sick. So that is why I am guessing that is what it was. I never went to the doctor I guess but if you put two and two together it's not that hard to figure out. We got denied our loan to get everything caught up. We have to wait 3 more months first. Which sucks but hey what can I do. Nothing! Well I am going to sign off now and I will hopefuly remember to write tomarrow. I am finally getting the hang of this crazy thing. My stress reliever. HEHEHE!

Sick yet again

Well today was not such a good day. Last night we all had Pizza hut and needless to say that throughout the night we all got sick. I was sick at work and Kyle and I had to leave. We are both pretty tired of throwing up every half hour or so. Cant keep nothing down. I found out that Bob and Becky and their kids are sick to. They ate with us last night. So I am not sure what the deal is.
On a good note aftr I went and picked the kids up from Barb's house I got home and went to the restroom..Ely told me to get off so that he could go poop. I got off and went downstairs to get his underware and I came back upstairs to find him on the toilet doing his business all by himself. I was so proud of my big boy. The funny part is, is that he tried to wipe himself..Now that was intersting..Needless to say I had to jump in. Oh well he is still learning. I am still proud of him he is growing up. Well lets just hope that he keeps up the good work.

little update

Yesterday was a pretty busy day. It all started with crabby kids and Cooper getting hurt. He fell off the couch and he screamed like someone was just beating him to death..LOL! And come to find out he fell on a pile of blankets. So he didnt even get hurt..I think it must have just scared him.. After that i started to clean house.Oh what fun that was. NOT! Oh well its all part of being a wife. We then went over to Becky's house to help them pack and load stuff into the trailer. Well then i got a phone call from a friend and she wanted me to watch her 2 kids Skyler and Lesley. That was fun to have a newborn in the house again. Kyle actually loved it..HEHEHE! Soemday I will have a newborn girl. When we all got up this morning I was getting breakfast for the kids and Ely kneeled down and sad he tummy hurt. I told him to go lay down and he did. I went out there to see how he was doing and he threw up..YUCK! So then i gave him some medicine. Not two hours later her threw up again. YUCK! So now he is lying down and pale as can be. So I am not sure whats gong on with him. Bob is sick also so who knows.. I just hope Ely gets better soon. He just is to quiet when he is sick. I will keep you al lupdated.

Hey to all, I am sorry I havent been on my blog for awhile i have been pretty busy with some financial stuff. We have it all under control now. Now we are in between a rock and a hard spot with some of our friends. They need to find a place to live within three days. I am not sure the whole situation but its not good. I cant do anything to help them, I dont have the space for them nor the money. I am pretty much out of options.
On a good note I am feeling better and so are my boys. Cooper was throwing up last night. He did 2 times. YUCK! I am not sure why the situation was with him. He seems to be feeling much better today. Little fussy but he at least has his color back. Well i better get going. Got to get ready for the day.

I Feel Icky

Today is not going to be a good day I can already tell. I woke up like every couple hours getting sick. Ely says his tummy hurts and he is just lying around so i gave him some motrin and when that kicks in he is a little more ambitious. When that wears off we are in for it again. crabby ol' Ely. I am hoping it is just the 24 hour flu. If not well call the Dr. I will keep you al posted.

Another busy day at papa's house

Yet again today we all went over to papa's to pretty much finish up the siding job. There is still the south side yet other than that it is all finished. My Super Tooper was very crabby. He woke up way to early and didnt get to sleep again untli about 3:15 pm. So needless to say it didn't take long to get him to sleep. Now the next obsticle is to get Ely down..Yah like that will happen. He is being so stubborn some days.
On a good note Ely went potty for me today and last night at grandmas's house. It was a fight to get him on there but he went after his nap last evening. He screamed the whole time he was on there but like I said at least he went. I am not sure if he even knows when he has to go. I asked him this morning if he had to go to the bathroom and he said "yes." So I took him in and he went potty. Grandma Hoeke took him in today cuz he said he had to poop..LOL! i just figured he had already gone in his diaper. He did go in his diaper but we put him on the toilet and still went a little more so maybe i am just trying to push him to hard. How can I tell when he is ready? How do you know if he can feel that he needs to go? I am just plainly out of ideas.
When we got home from Papa's house we all sat down to watch the Dukes of Hazzard on HBO. Its a pretty good movie so far. Kind of stupid if you ask me..LOL! Oh well. Ely and Kyle seem to like it a lot. Well I am going to sign off for now. Talk to you all later.

Siding Papa's House

Today we went over to papa and grandma's house to help Dick Ruger side his house. Man was it hot out. Everybody was there. All the kids played well together and the boys and Julia were catching crawdads and frogs from the creek. That was just gross. Ely loves to play with frogs and such. Its been a long haul for everybody. Lots to do in such little time. Money gets tight and bills need to be paid. Work work work all day long and it always seems that ends never meet. I think papa and grandma Hoeke are going to buy Ely a new bike for his birthday. Ely's birthday isn't until November but he wont be able to ride it then. So i am hoping that we can get it soon so he will be able to ride it before the snow flys. I didn't even know that he could ride one of those 19 inch bikes until Barb told me and until i was able to see it over at Grandma's house. He is vary good at it..I don't think it will be vary hard to get him off the training wheels when it comes time. Now the potty training bit is a completly differnt story. If anybody has any ideas or options for me to try I would be more than happy to try them out. Ely will be 3 in November and he seems to have no interest at all. I am not even sure if he can even tell if he has to go. He will tell me he has to go number 2 so I go and put him on the potty and he just screams and says no he don't want to. I just wish he would learn because it would make it so much cheaper on me not having to buy diapers for both kids. So if anybody has any ideas PLEASE feel free to let me know. Well i am going to call it a night. We had a long day and its time for bed. Good night to all.

Dang its hot out..and i choose one of the hottest days of the year to pack and try to move..CRaazzzyyyy. its just chaos..i have hardly even gotten anything packed..I have most of my wall hangings but just dont have the ambition to do much..YUCK! Hey Barb...what can i give you so that you can pack everything up for me....and move it..lol..Love you still.. Just thought i would catch up everybody..i tend to forget to write on here.. Stlill trying to get used to this whole thing..

Yes you guessed it, we finally found a house..The good thing is it is off the highway. The only thing that is bad is that i have to pack everything up..YUCK! It is only a block and a half away from where i live now but hey it has a 2 door garage on it.(Hope your happy Kyle...Hehehe i love you still..) It is smaller but it will get us by until we are able to buy our dream home..LOL! Which could very well be awhile..Just htought i would let you all know..I will be pretty busy these next couple days and weeks..

Cooper's first haircut

He was such a Trooper. My little Cooper sat thru the whole thing..CRYING! He didn't like it much at all. I had to be right next to him the whole time...His brig brother Ely sat much better. Cooper was a pretty good boy. When I would always pick up Cooper from day care (Barb) I would show up with a huge suprise. Cooper's hair would be standing on end. He would always have a mohawk..LOL! It was cute but I just could't take it anymore..I had to have it cut. He looks so hansome now. A little crabby and tired but hansome. He had his one year shots today to which was just terrible..I felt so bad cuz he cried so much..But whatever i can do to keep my boys healthy. They are worth way to much to me to lose.

Err! today was Crraaazzzyyyy day..When i got ot work..BAM! it all started with the men i work with. I seem to always get picked on..hmm..wonder why.They greased my water bottle so that when i grabbed it, it was all over my hands..The bad thing is, is that it is very hard to get off..So of course i found out who did it cuz all i had to do was check everybodies hands and Wham I found out. After that they greased all my tools so yes of course i got greased again..Damn! Later on in the day they glued my Table vise together so i couldn't open it to put my bushings in to take apart and put back together...ERRR!! So let's just see what tomarrow brings..I smell revenge..Mwaahahaha...It will be fun. I am sure i will end up getting slammed with water or something of the sort..Well sorry i havent been on for a couple days..taking me a bit to get used to writing everyday..Lets just hope i can get in the groove of things..This weekend i wont be around to write so miss me..LOL! i am going to the Crystal Springs Rodeo in Clear Lake South Dakota. Well what a great day it is..A day to cherish and to spend time with dad. We were going to go into the boat today but guess what? mother nature says no..That darn wind is always around whenever we dont want it. So i think we are just going to go play at the parks and just hang out and do family things..Might be able to so swimming pending on the lake and how windy it is..Just hope everybody had fun and stayed safe..

First Time Home buyers

Well we went to Sioux Falls to talk about getting the first time home buyers so that we can get out of renting..That all went well. We have to wait until January of 2008 until we can get it but we will qualify for it which is a great deal. He told us to either rent until then or try contract for deed for a year and a half or so. Then we will have to refinance under the first time home buyers deal. Work was good today beings i didnt have to do much beings i wore nice clothes to work since i had to go to sufu. My foreman told me that it was ok that i just did the basics..HEHEHE! Poor Harvey..(Friend from work) He had to do quite a bit today so that I didnt get dirty..I caught a lot of crap for that today..LOL! Go figure. Well I am tired so i am going to go try to take a nap..Yeah right..later all

Today was total chaos...We had to run here then run there and back to here..Awww...my does it feel good to finally sit down. I was so busy today that I almost forgot i have to go to Sioux Falls tomarrow so that we can try to get approved for First Time Home Buyers. *crosses fingers* we need to get out of the house we are currently living in. Well back to my day...hmm where should i begin? It wasn't to hot just really muggy..I had to be outside where it totally was not cool. It was so boring.. We had to walk up and down the rows in the yard looking for stupid pieces that we knew that we didnt have but hey thats life.. Ten after that we had to go in an even hotter spot and work on a very hot fork lift...ICKY! ICKY! ICKY! Around 4:00 it finally slowed down for about 10 minutes...Mister forman decides to come over and asks for something that we have to go look at again..Again NOT FUN! Well i better call it quits for the night and get the boys ready for the night..Later

well today was a pretty good day, well a pretty halarious day. I had a fun day at work beings i was soaked all day. Other than all of the rain we had i ended up getting a huge bucket of water poured on me. YAY! oh well i always say payback are always fun. Thats ok, i will always get them back one way or another. I always say, "it may not be today, it may not be tommarow and it may not be a year from now, but i will get you back..." LOL! Its always a new thing at T&R. Well when i got home i had very crabby kids. Needless to say they drove me NUTS! Barb i envy you for putting up with my little varmants. LOL! They love you though...thats why they like to give you grief..Well thats all i have for today..hope tomarrow is the same fun like i had today..

Today was a pretty busy day for the Wangsness family. Well the same old stuff happend as always go to work come home and usual..LOL! Well we had Wayne over for Cooper's birthday. That was good to have him over to see the kids. We really enjoy having papa over. We played outside most of the night and Ely got into the pool for awhile. Cooper fell in the pool like normal..I am glad that we are always with him otherwise we would have some problems.. Work was ok other than it was extrememly hot. Well it was a different day at work i guess, we had a water fight like we tend to do in the summer. I always say if you cant have fun at work why go? I am just glad that i can get along with all of the men i work with. We like to play jokes on each other. Oh well. Gots to have fun sometimes. Well that goes it for another day.

I am kind of new at this so just bare with me. I wnat to thank my sister Barb for helping me set this thing up..I am hoping that it helps me relax now. Today was a very hot day at work Oh by the way, I work at T&R Electric along with my husband Kyle. I enjoy it even though it gets tough at times. I work with a lot of guys and you all know that is a tough situation. LOL! oh well. Well back to my day...It went pretty well. Long but well. I picked up my kids at daycare, which is my sisters house (Thanks Barb) and brought them home and we had supper. I went to see my dad at the VFW and had a few drinks while Kyle stayed home with the boys and a freind of his. Big relief to get out. My days are pretty boring. Same stuff differnt day. Wake up, get ready for work, go to work come home, pick up my kids,have supper, bathe the kids, play with the boys, then go to to bed. Yes, gets to be a pretty looonnnggg boring day. Oh well. Well i hope i did this right and i hope you all enjoy it. Tell me if it's dumb.. bye for now.
